Feeder Cattle Report for 3/12/2018

   Compared to last week, feeders traded steady except 500-600 lb steers selling
mostly 10.00 lower. The last few weeks, futures markets have been trending
lower. Supply was light with moderate demand. The feeder offering included 67
percent steers and bulls and 33 percent heifers with 53 percent over 600 lbs.
Cows and bulls totaled 19 percent of the offering. Slaughter cows sold with a
steady undertone.

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1  400-500 lbs 192.00-218.00; 500-600 lbs
173.50-192.50; 600-700 lbs 158.00-173.00. Medium and Large 1-2  pkg 697 lbs
144.00; 700-750 lbs 135.00-149.00.

   Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1  350-400 lbs 173.50-178.00; 450-500 lbs
